Consulting and custom line-of-business software.

We design and build the applications operations teams actually run on — staffing, procurement, payments, attendance, and the rest of the unglamorous work that keeps a company moving.

Services

Software that fits the business, not the other way around.

Off-the-shelf tools stop where your process is specific. We take that process from a sketch through production, then stay on as the system grows.

Line-of-business applications

Custom web and mobile systems for the work only your team does: requests, approvals, inventories, check-ins, dispatch, and reporting.

Consulting & delivery

Architecture, rebuilds, and hands-on engineering. We sit with operators, write the software, and ship it into daily use.

Integrations

ERPs, SSO, payments, card readers, printers, and the APIs your vendors already have. The new system should talk to the ones you are keeping.

Legacy replacement

WordPress forms, spreadsheets, and aging platforms turned into applications people can run a season on — with imports so you do not start from zero.

Cloud, hosting & compliance

AWS, Azure, GCP, and other clouds, or your own machines. SOC 2–minded builds, PCI / PA-DSS when payments are in play, and uptime that operators can trust.

Ongoing partnership

Support after launch. When the original request changes — and it will — the software should still be ours to change with you.

Selected work

Systems in production, not slide decks.

Product

Branch Invoicing

A workspace we built for agencies, consultants, and professional-services teams: time, expenses, estimates, invoices, and a signed-in client portal — web, iPhone, iPad, and Android.

  • Invoices from tracked work, retainers, deposits, and credit notes.
  • AI receipt and purchase-order reading, plus QuickBooks, Xero, and Stripe when accounting is ready.

branchinvoicing.com

Branch dashboard with billable hours, live earnings, and estimates.

Allied Power · Staffing

nStaffMMC

Outage and non-outage staffing for a power contractor. Replaced a forms stack with a Rails system staffing coordinators can run a season on.

  • Org chart builder whose positions publish into outage requests.
  • Candidate, pay, status, and hiring actions on the full request — not a PDF afterthought.
nStaffMMC org chart builder with Site Manager, Mechanical, and Electrical sections.

Allied Power · Procurement

PowerReq

A purchase-requisition platform in front of Viewpoint. Field and office staff raise reqs; approvals and job/vendor data stay in sync with the ERP instead of living in email.

  • Roles, an approval matrix, attachments, and activity history.
  • Jobs, vendors, and charge codes read from Viewpoint; Azure AD for sign-in.

Louisiana State University

TigerTracker

Event attendance for LSU. ID-card scans on iPod Touch with Linea Pro sleds, and a web console for live check-ins — instead of clipboards or expensive proprietary readers.

  • Campus guest cards swipe into a live Baseball Attendance board.
  • Built for events staff who need the check-in in front of them, not later in a spreadsheet.

Hospitality · Payments

City Sightseeing POS

A PA-DSS iOS point of sale with MagTek, Zebra, and Star Micronics hardware — for use on the street, not just a counter. Built for tour operations that cannot wait on a register.

  • Order entry, discounts, payment, and device status in one iPad app.
  • Readers and printers as first-class devices, with live status instead of a mystery failure at the dock.

About

A Louisiana consultancy that still writes the software.

French Quarter IT, LLC was founded in 2011. We work from Baton Rouge with clients who need operational systems — not another brochure site, and not a platform they cannot change.

That includes LSU, where we replaced clipboard check-in with ID-card scans and a live attendance console, and long-running line-of-business platforms for staffing, procurement, payments, and hospitality.

We build primarily in Rails and Node, with iOS, Android, and React Native when the work has to leave the desk. Hosting follows the client: AWS, Azure, GCP, other clouds, or bare metal.

Jeffrey Lee founded the practice and still leads delivery. More of his background is at jeffreylee.org.
